As spring takes over the Northern Hemisphere, the sounds of the earth melt into playfulness and warmth. The days are longer now, bleeding day into night - daytime parties raging well into the well-lit nights. Episode 39 is the soundtrack to your spring, the perfect blend of slow movement and blissful swaying, deep sounds and sparkling melodies.
Hill House Radio (HHR) was born out of a desire to share good music with discerning people. HHR is a genre-less podcast, our musical guide is the tap in our foot — blind to borders and eras.
Our goal isn't to revolutionize music listening, podcasting or radio-style dj-ing — our aim is much simpler:
we want to put out great playlists that we can work to, play to & relax to.
As a side project of the Humble Giants team, Hill House Radio has been released bi-weekly since February 2012. We also promise never to interrupt your listening experience with talking, track identifying, plugs or any sponsorship advertisements.
We're here to listen to music together.
Our voices aren't interesting to you, and we know it. Besides, we believe in the resourcefulness of our listeners. Aside from Shazam (or your track identifying app of choice), we have embedded many ways to get a full track listing for each and every episode.
So sit back, subscribe (or download) and enjoy some great tunes with us.
Whether you're at work, at the gym, mixing a cocktail or just professionally chilling, HHR will have something for you. And if you're a music buff, a n00b or still listening to Toni Braxton cassette tapes, HHR will probably have something for you too.
Enough talk! Grab an episode (our latest is probably good),
and enjoy the warmth from the vibrations.
See you on the other side!
Hill House Radio will open for submission-based episodes beginning November 2012.
